I took this with the Sony Camera. Yours should have a macro or a flower on the turn knob. That should allow you to get the background a little more blurred. Also, getting more distance from the subject and the background will cause this. So, getting low and shooting across vs. down on it should do that too. Thank for the comments Christina. :)

Beautiful! This is the effect I was trying for with the picture I posted today. I love how nothing in the background is competing with the bee and flower. That's what I need to work on.
