Instead of you, the photographer, acting as the observer you've given us the illusion that the zebra is the only one who is observing the scene. It's a neat piece of composition and with the shallow depth of field you've chosen it results in a wildlife image with a difference.

I think that what makes the whole image really a super shot and a great one is the way how it is composed. The composition in here is perfect, creative and thanks to it gives a feeling that anyone who watch the shot is a part of the wild wordl out there. best regards
