Great shot - agree about the tree - IMHO doesn't add anything to the shot. So, where are/were the clouds or was this heat lightning? Nice to see an upload from you.

Thank you, I hadn't thought much about the tree, I thought it made the Lightning seem closer, but will try that out and see how it looks. Thank you for comment.

I like this shot so very much... what a moment... a suggestion, only because it secondarily draws the eye...would be to clone out the trees on left...but fantastic image! Wonderful colour!
