About	I was able to get such a detailed close up of this hawk because he is very young and was still learning to hunt. He had just killed a squirrel and couldn't get off the ground with it. :)

The detail is wonderful, especially in the eye. Hadn't noticed the bright spot until I read Peter's comment - so yes, it's there, but not at all distracting...
