I think the angle is what makes this shot work so well. So many floral shots are taken angled down for a full view of the bloom. Though this one obviously is a bud and not a bloom, you got on the level. Very attractive shot.

great macro. there's one little thingie about the picture that gives the image a surreal character. colors are great. i don't know if i like the symmetry in it that much, but it sure fits. good job!
