Yeah I know you have been away and there is nothing that you need me to forgive silly... lol Yeah Im almost sure were are talking about the same site. They want the high Res so they can get the best quality and larger size prints. I Have been able to upload so far up to 1 and a half megs which surprises me on dailup! lol I have go about 25 up so far. Now the big question...Is it red bubble.com? lol I think the best thing to do is try to pick images that would be good for cards. For holidays and birthday type photos and even like some special event type things and sports..... Sunsets which might include people. Companies are like magazines and new papers they want photos that stress people. You want earn as much for single sales but you will likely sell more. Thats not to say they you should let them sell print as well. Put it all out there. Just make more of a swing towards the images that would be great for cards. All photo that are great for cards will be great for images as well. It just doesent work so well the other way around. lol If any of that makes any sense to you! HA Well kiddo it was nice hearing from you again. Keep shooting and posting.......You well sell something sooner or later if you love what your doing......The biggest thing I have learn so far I think is......Shot what you want to shot. Know how to shot and if your loving it and shooting at least close to right......You will get there! Just dont shoot for anyone else. That ain't gonna to nothin for us and it never will.........
See you at the museum!
Ps....Catch up? You have been gone havent you! You must have takin a trip and left the farm.......I like taking my trips and hanging around! lololol

I like this shot Mich. Very well done! It has a lot of blown out highlights but there is still a fair amount of details there. I like the harsh processing you did with it and makes a case in point for breaking the rules and coming out ahead! You could do 500 hundred of these types of shots and only get one or two that say something great. But thats fantastic cause when we brake rules that is when when we make art! Some of the best images are made this way. Great job of seeing outside the box as they say... I might would crop up from the bottom to get ride of that part of a sign in the lower right corner sense its not all there and give no purpose to the photo. then to keep the format the same crop off about as much on the right side or to the end of that post. there is really nothing there that needs to be there and you still come out with the same format! hehe just a suggestion you know.....:) I really like it and think its a strong story telling image! Wow you are a very popular photograper these days! Have you sold any work yet? I found a site which looks really awsome and they sell your work and do all the work for you. All you have to do is shot the photos (which is the fun part anyways) and just upload and they do all the rest. If your interested drop me a line and Ill send you a link....I think I still have your email addy but will have to chect and make sure. Great job on this one. 7/7's Regards Your friend,
Paul
Ps....I thought I saw you might had got a new lens? or is the 1.4 the kit lens? I wouldent think so but then what do I know! hehehe

My dear Keith ...I almost forgot as I just came out of a huricanne we had here... First You are NOT DUMB Secondly ..it is maybe not a good idea what I was trying to do..to camoflauge the parrot to make one look at the image closely as so many times we don't and we miss a lot ..I did try to do a contrasting BG to show the parrot but with my knowlege and tools I was not able to do it- soooooo it was just an attempt at playing around :))
Thank YOu so much for your time and trouble to ask and to question comment & view ..It is much appreciated mate :)) Cheers, Michele~

Thank You my dearest Pablo... I am working on the 'contrast' but when I posted this I was actually wanting the parrot to sort of blend in and not be as prominent so it would be camoflauged..just to make a person view it longer...anyway not a popular choice -haha!! I always appreciate your support my dear, A hug, Michele~

Dear Michele Amazing that this beautiful parrot stays where he is. I guess it´s nice for him being in a familiar place and getting fed:-) Advice? Well, more contrast and maybe getting down lower to emphasize the idea of freedom making the parrot stand out more with the sky behind him. Anyway I love the relaxed mood in this one and the warm weatherfeel:-) Warm hugs Annemette

it's a nice scene Michele, haha... he don't like freedom...becouse he must """work""" to find his food...and not lot of toys etc there... plus that he can be the "toy" for a cat! so, he thinks like us, lol...profit cames first! :-D Nice scene Michele but I think needs some work on quality here, grain in not bad BUT lot of spots looks not good here, and also needs a bit better contrast, because the parrot is white and so it's background... be well my friend...
