Yeah I definately have to agree that lite really detracts from the focal point! A year ago when I was posting this picture I was torn between the fixed version and the one with the lite because it looked empty without the lite. I should have probably modified the lite so it wasn't so obtrusive! example below. Thanks very much for the comment Roger!

yeah I have to say I am with Annemette on this one.. prefer the fixed version.. as the direction of the light is not that apparent and so the image loses nothing wihout the lamp appearing in the mirror

I like the attached version much better because the spotlight/lamp doesnīt grab all the attention more and doesnīt disturb the mood. Very good I think. Thanks for taking the time to listen to my advice. I really like advice and opinions myself because they make me grow and learn, not harsh sour comments though but helpful critique.:-)

Unfortunately I did,nt have the chance to do a bunch of test shots as I usually do before I do a photo shoot as this one just kinda happened around 4am last weekend. I photo shopped the light out in a pic below to see if you like that one better I thought the the lite added a secondary focal point so I left it in the pic. I always appreciate your suggestions Annamette! I'd rather have an honest opinion from anyone whom critiques my photo's no matter how critical it may be! Thanks again for the nice comment! Take care!

I really like this photo being mysterious and beautiful, dark and secretive. I only wish the lamp wasnīt showing and that she could have looked more serious- sorry you know me- I always have sth. to say*LOL* Hope you donīt mind my suggestions, Joey.
