Hi again, channel mixer is good for BW conversions but be sure do not tweak out too much the channel sliders :)....txules

Hi txules,
I just went to channel mixer & turned into monochrome mode. then I worked on the curves & shadows & highlights! I will have to try another way, I guess I have a lot to learn when it comes to photoshop.

Hi Edlira, how did you convert this piece into BW?, contrast is OK for me but artifacts are there (try to modify the setting of your monitor) and I really think are due to BW conversion (blue channel/slider) but anyway image is really great

I didnt use a blue filter in this one & in my computer it looks fine I guess after the upload it looses the contrast that I intended.

Wow definitely one of my favorite recent shots.
Great portrait with great tones, details and background. And the use of light makes it look so majestic.
Great expression on the kido's face and eyes too, what makes this shot to stand out alive.

Dear friend, my opinion is that this portrait lacks nothing!! NO THING, composition is good, perspective is fantastic, the face and expression make this one of the most outstanding works on portraits i have seen so far on your entire portofolio! THIS IS A HIT, and the filter that you have used here works too good; if it were not for those sharp beautiful eyes i would say it is a greek statue on a piadestal,
it is screaming for an award!
