wow! that was quite a trip! those days on our roads..:-( in fact they are still not the ones from our wishes! but the cities you've seen- this kind is I like seeing most- with a deep historical background and lovely architecture! but now you're stuck in a different culture- an amazing one for me! all the best! Dear Pawel, thanks for answering my question! Well, it was just in the summer before my 25th birthday and I was glad this trip came my way. I was still living in Bucharest at that time. We went by trains to Krakow (which was love at first sight with me!),Oswiecim,Katowice,Wroclaw (which I found very interesting, with a Japanese garden),Poznan,Torun ( a jewel!including the Castle of the Teutonic Knights!!!),Gdansk, Gdynia and then Warsaw.We travelled by bus all the time,it was tiring, but most interesting!I saw many, many beautiful things that I remeber with pleasure!

Thanks Dear Gabriela! wow, you were here...pity we couldn't meet...I was something like 1 year old at that time:-) It's Poznan- middle west of the country, 295 km from Berlin; you'd be surprised by changes here since your visit; which part have you visited?

A huge mirror for the sky!!!!I like the way you framed it sparsely with vegetation! I'd certainly like to have such an "escape" close by!What part of Poland is this, Pawel? (I still keep wonderful memories of my visit to Poland in 1974!!!)
