Very good toning/lighting here, Dave! The way you captured the water surface like a solid mirror, and the two animals with some amount of soft focus, does add a bit of an animal tale atmosphere. Especially the reflections of the two animals seem to be much more "real" than the animals themselves and so the image seems to exist in some kind of boundsary zone between tale and reality.
