About I have posted many floral photos from Descanso Gardens over the years. Descanso Gardens have many varieties of flowers but they are most famous for their Camillias. They actually have a Camillia forest. This is despite the fact that they are grown in a Oak grove canopy. The two require totally opposite types of soil. Camillias normally flower in the dormante season in winter, so in February you can get many camillia flowers blooming. It is quite spectacular. These photos were taken in early March so it was still pretty good. I hope you like the few I am now posting.
