Yes, now I do understand - and sorry for using the wrong word. They both start with "ex", you see. :-)
So, it is the simplicity and the missing rest of the tree. I see... For me it is the simplicity and that kind of "darker" atmosphere.

so you want to know..what i find so exciting?you mean excellent..i didn't say exciting..anyway it's simple..i find this shot really pure..clean..i loved most of all the branch..i try to immagine..the entire tree..but i can see it..so i try to dream..in B/W ok? hugs

Thank you very much, Claudia. This one received a honorable mention award at the photography exposition "Trees", that took place two years ago in Geneva, because "it is about a tree and still it does so much with so little". I consider it to be one of my best trees ever and so I can only be glad that you like it.
