About I made a colour version of a series of beach shots i made some 2 years ago, which were simply amazing and among the most wonderful windblown structures i had ever seen .. i never found the proper way to get the right colour, until now..
The series was made after a storm had passed, in low evening light, and just before high tide washed everything away again .. enjoy !!
B&W album is here: http://www.pbase.com/lightyear/beach

Another series tomorrow !!

Incredible patterns, Peter!! I started thinking that youŽd made them yourself*LOL* Still only nature can making something like this. Such a treat seing your photos from that beach with the amazing patterns and sandy sculptures made by the wind. Seems like life on another planet.
Best wishes
Annemette

That's pretty amazing. I thought it was a time worn sandstone cliff perhaps.

This is in MHO the best one Peter. The way you framed it coupled with the structure and shapes you captured give rise to a really nice composition.
Congrats

Another great image Peter - I would crop out the top 1/8th which seems slightly overexposed - the rest is simply beautiful. Regards.

Great texture and detail, Peter! What are the objects on the tip of each projection?
Great lighting for this series, as well.

Your whole sand sculpture series is just stunning. I've photographed sand like this in Mexico. Nice shot for a digital camera. Thought only a brief moment in time you've captured the beauty of mother earth's magnificance.
