What I do consider so remarkable on this one, Erik, is that the great detail of the concrete ball is supplemented by a background that seems to be almost added afterwards artificially, though it is obvious that it was "only" selective focus. I mean *real* selective focus and not some kind of unconsciously made photo out of mere coincidence!
I can say however that a small correction of some tiny parts of EV downwards, would have add to this special feel by making the texture of the sphere perceivable in a stronger way, and the shadow that it throws even more decisive.
Hi Erik, I've been here awhile on UF ... and I am generally the aggressor-- so I am excited to get a comment from a so called 'stranger'.. I feel like I am going on a traveling trip somewhere and here I am now ... to find --- my best girl -friend has already commented on your images ... which is cool- Try what she says -- she is right mostly !!! I like your image tho as is... Michele~
Very nice artistic stoneball and good colours. I think it would look even nicer with another crop leaving the background out and only having the ball and the water. Just a suggestion though:-) Best wishes Annemette
