great shot it could be a cover on a book, i quite like seagulls, if only for their bareface cheek they have when you eat fish and chips at the harbour, and they come right up within feet of you!

I know how difficult it is to get these guys to stay still long enough to get a good photo. The trick is getting good DOF. It would be good to know your camera settings here. .. 7/7 riny
