Yes this is Hermanus, it is one of the dunes on Grotto Beach, the main beach of Hermanus.

From the thumbnail I thought it was somewhere in the Namibian desert or something, certainly not Hermanus...

I like this as is, but to me something that zoomed in on the pattern in the sand may have worked better. Esp. eliminating the to the right. The flat sky works, but to me the beach grass is a distraction. Really enjoy the patterns in the dune.
