Thank You Steve, I think you may be right, your version is definitely more moody.

A nice photo, Randy. There certainly is a strong element of tension in the pose. I like that aspect of it. Is she suspicious? Is she afraid? Or is she merely kinky. I like the questions the photo brings up. One thing you might consider would be do something like strengthening the contrast so that there is more addition drawn to the facial expression, especially the eyes. Below is an example of what I mean.

Good that you are trying different poses to see what works and what does not. In some cultures the arm pits are considered very appealing. More often are regarded as something to avoid. I find the photo attractive and simple. --Best to you, Jan

Hey Ken. It was my first time taking photos of someone who actually posed I suppose.. this was one of my least favorites.. but I thought I would throw it up here anyway. :) Still learning.. Thank you for your comment though, I appriciate it :)

Technically, this is an excellent exposure, but I can only appreciate this as a rather abstract composition, since I find it somewhat unnatural. I'm left wondering why her arms are posed like that. Thoughts like "Is she being held up at gunpoint?" come to me. I get no emotion or personality coming through from the model.
Graphically, I see 4 main areas of light (skin) arranged against a brick wall in a random way that doesn't particularly appeal to me. I do find more to enjoy in your other work.
But what do I know? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the picture and learning from you what I'm missing.
