Jess, I like the picture. I too struggle with wanting to take pictures and being respectful to their traditions and beliefs. Though always their tradition and beliefs win out. Nice pic!

I can echo Nessa's comment as I too have memories of watching keen gardeners following horses up and down streets clutching a bucket and hand spade:) . I suppose the Amish people are very private and we know so little of them in the UK but I believe their basic values are to be admired as they appear to be very peace loving communities, Well done to you my dear friend a lovely little composition and a great 'about'. Like the composition and angle when i was little we would go to the countryside and my mother would take a shovel and bucket to collect horse poop for her roses ..so think your self lucky ..lol..nessa

Great composition Jessie. Seems a tad soft . . . but I like the composition - Horse poop is NOT as bad as Quail and lizard poop! (Trust me) ;)

you are too funny! it isn't fun to get the poop out of tire treads. ah well. ;) i know they don't like their pictures taken, and every time i wish i had my camera and would be able to take photos. ah well.
i cropped this, it doesn't look like it did in the bigger photo. ah well. i am learning! thanks, michele!
