I love the texture you've brought out in the melon, Tony. And the photo is wonderfully crisp with great black and white tones. I find myself wanting to see the entire base of the melon, but maybe that's a tension that you intended. I do think that the window shadow might be a bit much. I'm not sure why I'm seeing it. Anyway, the photo is wonderful and thought provoking. Nice work! Steve

James, Very basic technique for this shot. Tripod mounted camera with macro lens. Melon placed on upturned stainless steel fruit bowl, all placed near a patio window. The only light source was daylight from the right and a white card reflector (hand held) on the left. Regards
