Very cool image -- looks like a little xmas tree...hand color the "bulbs" and you'd have a pretty cool Xmas card....good eye...K

I always like these type of images, not sure why. I'm not sure how I would improve this. I actually think if you moved to the right and got rid of the open door it might be better. Don't quote me on that, the point is I think a change in composition would improve this shot. Other than that it is a great shot. The lighting is good and I love the clarity and sharpness of the object, something I always strive for but rarely achieve. Somehow, I'm not very good at still lifes. Keep up the good work!

I believe Betsy did a wonderful job of hitting all the high spots on this image. I tend to be very partial to B&W, so I really like the tonal range presented here. She gave you a very valuable comment, keep up the work.

What is coming out of the top of this bottle? Is it colorful, not sure why you chose b/w. It might have been a bit less cluttered if you had swung over the the left and shot it with the open door as the backdrop. Now it's kind of busy and the values in the bottle are too close to the values in the grass. Also, try to put the area of most interest not directly in the center of the shot, this will give it more visual appeal. By the way, welcome, you will find this a very inspiring site and I think you will learn a lot. Glad to have you here.
