About This is gonna be a project because I would prefer to have the Chief with a black background instead of cars in a lot, but this was the best shot I got of him as he entered the drum circle at Chinook Winds Casino .... and haven't figured out how to darken the background, or remove him to another one yet...... Hope you enjoy his colorful character even in a parking lot for now....?

Hello Michele,
I was looking through your photos and happened accross this photo of and indian chief. You have many wonderful photos on your pages.

I realize this is 8 years after your posting but I like to play with photos. You had indicated that you would like to see the Chief photo with a black background. I played around with it and wanted to send a copy to you. I hope you enjoy it.

Dear Michele:

What I like about you is that you are fearless in the face of a whacked out native about to spear you with a huge pointy object.

Best wishes,
Dave

I really would prefered it in a tribal context of what in parking, but I believe that its photo brings in itself the image of the fantastic native people of which we still have much that to learn. Health and peace for you Michele

Well this is certainly true Annemette...maybe this is what happens to me sometimes too...I get split up in my soul.

You make a very interesting point. The present is 'NOW' and here 'We' are !

Thank you so much for pointing this out to me.
You are so right !
Thank you for being my freind.
The Best to You always,
Michele~

Dear Michele
I actually like that he´s standing there in the carparkingarea wearing sunglasses as a contrast to the old, mythical chiefclothes.
Of course it´s more romantic and appropriate in another setting on the prairie, but it´s a lesson to learn for all of us that if we only praise the old times and deny the present then we get too split up in our souls.
Take care and thanks for leaving such kind comments:-)
Annemette

thanks so much jessie... he would've looked so much better at a Pow wow or anywhere else , BUT here he is in a parking lot ! Seems disgraceful in a way huh? I'm gonna keep working on this one...
so many projects for winter and it sure is comming here a bit too fast. the leaves are falling everywhere and the chill is in the air . ...

Thank you for commenting Rashed. It is true about all of the elements coming together to make a very good picture, which did not happen for me at this time... but I do appreciate your encouraging comment.

Wishing You the best.
Michele~

excellent shot, really colorful. It appears a bit off focus to me? intentional or not? If it was really sharp the colors would be even more vivid. But nice capture. All the best.
Marco.

Very great portrait of this Chief, you did a great job my friend to photograph this image, some times the subject matter and not all other elements when the chances are very limitted , thanks for sharing this image with us and wishing you all of the best.
