Well, that shouldn't stop you, Frank. I'm still using film, and I use a high-end film scanner to get my images into the computer.:)

The reason that I have not posted earlier is that I am new to digital photography. I have been taken film images for 60 years. I bought a 35mm scanner in July 05 and Nikon D50 in January 06

A beautiful and ethereal composition my dear Shirley which in it's original form would have been an excellent composition but with your additional creative postwork takes into the realms of sophisticated photoart. The colour tones are magical, almost surreal, and the inclusion of those gorgeous droplets of water just leave me breathless. The illumination is excellent and your focus superb and whether or not the dark background was born in-camera or postworked matters not.....it's a highly effective touch that sets this wonderful floral study alight. Well done to you my sweet friend. My very best wishes to you as always....Ray
