Reminds me of the 'Never give up' cartoon with the frog being swallowed but with its hands around the birds neck. Doesn't look as if this frog is going to be able to put the squeeze on the Kookaburra.
Excellent shot showing the not so pleasant side of nature.

OH DEAR LORD!!!! This has got to be one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen in my life! It's just gross... but you did an awesome job capturing this... how you randomly came across this and had your camera ready, I will never understand, but it's great nonetheless! It's a great close-up, very clear, and i like the level you took it on! Excellent, but gross, shot! :) :) ~Rachel~

Awesome capture Judi, I have never seen a bird like this one before. It's hard to believe that he/she can swallow such a big prey. Congratulations for this exceptional capture and thank you for sharing. BTW. I am glad you are posting your fantastic images again. Best wishes. Yamil

Thanks Giulio. Yes I did build it. It is an ongoing project.
Until about 8 weeks ago I didn't know any HTML. A good friend gave me a few guiding pointers and I went from there. I started with a template and then ripped it apart...majorly..lol!!
To what you see now...with many features that wasn't in the orginal template.
I am pleased you like it...I am actually working on a new section so keep watching over the next few days.

This is the way of nature. One survives on the other, much the same as with the humans, much to our dismay. A great capture Judi. Don.

I read, maybe last week, that the Australian Army was sent to combat the out of control frog population, is that a new type of soldier? ;-)
Good to see you again.
Miss you.

so nice to see you back dearest Judi!!!!! hope all fine your end!!!!!!!I am sure you know you've been missed....... very dramatic image but sometimes nature is cruel...I have seen it in an aquarium...a fish was not well and the others really attacked hard doing some very cruel things.... there is an expression "the law of the upper dog"!!!!! wishing you all the best and hoping to see more of your extraordinary work Marian
