Hi Greg, For this shot I used AV mode with F/7.1 and ISO 400- 0 exposure compensation. I also enhanced the image with PS. Thanks. Yamil

Hi Neil, This is a wild bird. Due to the lost of habitat some of this guys moved to a golf course. That's the reason why the lanscape looks so green. Thanks for your comment. Yamil

Great image and feel. The owl almost looks annoyed, which is fitting with your statement. Can I ask, is that extremely short DOF natural, or was it enhanced in PS?

Regradless of the environment this is a beautifully executed photograph.
But I am interested to know - is this a wild bird in it's natural setting?
