Very nice night picture of the Bell Tower. We were there a few months ago but at day time only...good picture...

The amount of finest details on this one is as amazing, as the great lighting is. On first glance I thought that it would be better to crop the other buildings at the left off, but I see now that they enhance the contrast between old and new additionally! A very nice night scene!

Nicely composed shot. I think the exposure should either be a lot shorter (to focus on the movement around here) or longer (to eliminate the blur of the traffic).

Very appealing shot, James. The exposure seems just right. You might play with the crop a bit, and see if eliminating the background junk on the left disturbs the balance too much.
The big problem with night photos for me is color temperature. Eyes, CCDs and film respond so differently to colors, and there are so many different light technologies in use, it is hard to decide what the result should really look like. I always play a lot with hue and color temperature controls to come up with a scene as close as possible to how I remember it.
