experiment ok. go on. I think howewer that one must adapt the effect of 35mm film in Holga to the effect one wants to gain, for example, the holes of film, resulting dark, must enter into the composition to have a real meaning, not only a casual effect. I hope to see more shot from you like it. after, colors : why don't you use cross processing from slide film into C41? You will be surprise by results.

This was just a 35mm roll of film that I put through the holga with rubberbands and cardboard holding it in (it is a camera for 120 film). The colors from my holga photos usually turn out pretty saturated and dreamlike anyway...but I printed this on myself in a color darkroom where I was able to control the color with the filters...although I really don't think I had to alter much at all...probably just pure luck!

this caught my attention, too! i am getting a holga this week. i had to do some researching on it (even if it is just a $20 plastic toy camera)... and i learned theres tons of things you can do with it. including stop it's light leaks and jimmyrig it with cardboard. i love the 35mm idea though. post more from your holga!! good job!

You should get a holga! There are a lot of great resources on the net and you can buy one for 12 or 13 bucks at Freestyle Photographic (http://www.freestylephoto.biz/)... I didn't colorize this digitally at all. It came out this way, and then when I printed it, I upped the saturation a bit. I no longer have access to a color darkroom, so it's hard to figure out how I can continue my wide Holga projects (but I guess I could just scan the negs).

This is so cool! Very Warhol, pop art, psychedelic. I've been reading about Holgas and really want to get one but can't seem to find a source except over the internet. I have a roll of 100 speed film in a QuadCam which is a plastic $12 camera that takes 4 photos in one frame that I'm trying to finish up so I can take it in to be developed. I can only hope I get results half as good as this. Did you colorize it digitally? This is one of my new Favorites. Please post more from your Holga.
