Big question: Why haven't I taken as many photos lately?
Little Answer: Because I wasn't taking photos, I was taking pictures. Yes, there's a difference. Pictures are what you'll find on any teenager's myspace. Photos belong in magazines and art galleries. Pictures don't have any purpose other than to reflect what something looked like. Photos convey a feeling through the arrangement of objects, the particular lighting, the angle, etc. Pictures are taken carelessly. Photos are planned. I guess I just want to do something with my photography and I'm not sure what it is I want to do. I'm tired of taking just another pretty picture.
