Thanx for commenting Sheldon.I created the floating sensation by creating selections and giving some areas greater sharpness and others a touch of blurr and darkening down.

Hi,Mervo,glad you liked it!One problem with using my flatbed scanner is that all the dust inside shows up as white specks.After removing most of them-mainly by inverse selection and then selective colour,black,I then decided to add some larger white
dots to add to the floating in space look.

I love this, very pretty, I would say in my opinion that the dots are a good addition. Good work, looks like a floral surrounded by stars :)

I like the way the flowers float in the picture. You may want to try cloning the little dots between the flowers. They seem distracting.
