Thank you for your kind comment about my recent upload, Amin. It was good because it led me to look at your wonderful portfolio. This photo, for example, is fantastic, a great way to honor an artist. The lighting and colors are superb.

I love this composition, Arabella. The convergence of lines, the use of monotone, and the blurriness add to nicely to the atmosphere of winter. Well done!

Great scene with wonderful colors, Saeed. I especially like the four objects receding to the horizon with the main object in the center deviating from its course but righting itself at the end. Well done! I'm very glad you had the time to spare to post this photo.

A fine cityscape, Robert. I hope you don't mind but I want to suggest to you a different framing option that I think works really well.

A very bleak and very interesting piece of photography, Luis. I like your use of grainy texture.

The gentle tones really help bring out the beautiful, sensuous shapes of these dunes, Txules. Very nice!

Nicely composed, Leo. The photo really gives the feel of a country stuck in the 1950's in some ways.

It's very strange to see the Star Wars bad guys photographed against the very old architecture of Lucca. Nice contrast.

You are too kind, Riny. Thank you. I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out approximately where I took the photo. I got out a map of the Netherlands and tried to figure out what my route was, but I'm not exactly sure. We drove from Brugge to Den Haag staying as far west as we could. It could have been in the Oostburg-Schoondijke area. But, to be honest, I don't exactly remember. It was very rural. We turned around and drove off the main road onto a parallel side road when we saw the stork just sitting there on the light pole. Sorry I can't be more specific.
best regards,
Steve

There are a lot of similar photos to this one, Tim, but this one stands out for its excellent colors and tones. This is one I enjoy looking at. The background lighting reminds me of a Turner painting. Well done!

A spectacular shot, Ania. Deserves an award. It reminds me of the set in the silent film 'The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari'. Great colors and tones, and excellent composition.
