Danny:

This really appeals to me. I think the decision to split the photo into three parts was a wise one, and really draws the eye in. The colors are beautiful, and I love the way they carry over from one frame to the next. Great job!

Thank you for taking the time to do this. I do like your crop better than mine! Wish I had a higher resolution so that I could crop more...

What a beautiful shot! So different from anything in this area (mostly forest). The color of the water is amazing, and this is a very nice composition.

Hi Kevin:

I think this one is my favorite in your gallery. The red of the boat really cathes the eye, and what a beautiful scene! Seeing the rocks through the water really adds to this as well.

Hi Kevin:

What a fun photo. I like the detail, and it is fun to read the sign as well.

I like this very much, it is almost more like a painting than a photograph! Well done!

I love this photo! What a wonderful expression the little boy has on his face. The contrast with the white background is very nice.

Hi Laura:

Thank you for your comments. You are right, the road is falling into the abyss. The road runs right along the river, and this section of the road has been closed off since it is eroding right into the river. The sign is left over from before they closed the road. I thought the irony was amusing.

Ann:

Thank you so much for your kind comment. The figurine was my grandmother's, it was given to me when she died, and every time I see it, it reminds me of her (she was a fantastic lady)! I was so pleased to be able to capture it in a photo in a way that enhanced it. I appreciate you stopping to take a look and taking the time to comment!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I really had fun playing with this...it was a rainy day, I was bored, so the perfect time to start playing with still life!

Thank you for your kind comment. This is actually a photo of tissue paper over a balloon, the wall is cream colored, but I took it in a darkened room with a long exposure time. I like the way it turned out too.

Hi Gene:

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I took your advice. I absolutely agree about the sharpening, I don't know how I missed that. I am not sure I like it better in black and white, however...I love that bright red! What do you think?

Thank you for your kind remarks. I really like this shot, an ordinary thing...untangling the Christmas lights (how DO they get that tangled? Elves?)...but the motion included in the photo makes it fun to look at I think.

Thank you Chris and Alicia:

This was taken at a park within walking distance of my home. I have never thought of roses as very good looking plants, but the blossoms are sure pretty!

This is my favorite in your portfolio so far. The leaning bodies certainly suggest motion, and yet there is no motion blur. The reflection is great as well.
