Very powerful color. Even the skin of your model has a red cast all over. Well composed and the expression is perfect for this I find. Not too posed, just natural.

It does have 3D effect. And the colors make it very powerful. My only suggestion would be to decenter the fish.

Wonderful work. Original and unexpected. There is so much to explore and discover. It took me a little time to find the human figure.

Very nice indeed. The scene in the back is wonderful, and full of a beautiful light and the natural framing makes it really stand out.

Hi Miranda,

The cat was at the window and the light came from outside. The sun was to the far right, I'm not sure it really touched the window.

There is lot of post-processing involved in darkening the shot and mostly the window. You can still see a reflection of the cat's right ear in the window... )

Hi Eric,
The aperture was f2.4 (digital has these weird apertures sometimes) and shutter speed was just as weird: 1/80 sec.

A lot of post-processing involved in darkening the shot and mostly the window.

I like this daringly simple composition. A bit more contrast may have boosted its impact even more.

OK, I pleaded, but I didn't comment.
So here's my comment:
Only you could have done this.
This is great, perfectly simple... er... I mean, simply perfect!

My buddy, you posted a photo! And what a light-loving, nature-loving, life-loving photographer you are.

The backlight creates exquisite details on the little flowers and a superb mood, very touching. Thanks so much for this.

I like both the B&W and the original version. I like how the colors have taken a yellow/pinkish cast in the original, sign of its age.

This is superbly tender and touching. Brings me to my own 60s.

Thank you Robert, Fabio, Jeanette and Marion!

I wish there was a way to have the page black instead of white. The details would be easier to see.
