Not the best portrait in my opinion and the person bending down in the foreground doesn't help at all.

Hello Sunset Man. What I like to see in a photograph is an effort on the photographer part in creating an image. Just pointing a camera anywhere and pressing the shutter release does not qualify as a good photograph to me. I think I am very unique in my taste. I just like to see photographers to try hard. I hope this answered Your question.

We all are facing the same choice. Even after the longest effort and most brave struggle we have to accept the life the way it is. After reading Your "About" section I can understand how You put her face in darkness using the backlight. It makes her eyes disappear and leaves the viewer only with a smile cutting the dark.

I am no fan of abstracts, but this one appeals to me maybe because it looks like an old monument to one of the leaders of our past epoch. The texture of the surrounding wall creates this illusion of a painting. Good observation skills.

Czolem Stan.

Nice portrait. The dark vibrant colors are setting a scary mood, which is often associated with clowns. Why don't You post Your pictures a bit larger. They can be up to around 900 pixels the longer edge.

This remains me of and old joke of two nuns riding a cobblestone street on bicycles with no seats when one turns suddenly to the other and says "I never came this way before". Jokes aside it is a nice shot of a kid with a stripped bike. A sort of mix of poverty, innocence and overcoming inconveniences from a place I thought everyone was rich. Cutting the wheels at the bottom and leaving too much space above the head throws Your image out of balance. Otherwise good emotional shot with a good eye contact with Your subject. Cheers!

This shot has a lot of high fashion elements. I like the low camera angle and I think a little bit lower wouldn't hurt the image in my opinion. The two models are absorbed by each other which makes my eyes go from one to the other and back. I like that trick. Nice models, the girl is beautiful. Good choice of the clothing, cold blue against warm orange. Well thought shot with cherry like flowers on the top.

Thanks Nick for Your detailed comment. I know the lighting is harsh, but I am in no position to dictate the conditions. When they fly I take a picture no matter where the Sun is. Persistance is the key. Thank You for stopping at my gallery and for looking.

It is a nice image. It catches my attention because the horizontal bands of colors and there is a boat and the family sitting on a beach to give the photo a substance, it is an exotic place, but it puzzles me why is it the best photo of the day?

If You got this shot fifteen years ago on film it would really "rock the boat". Todays technology allows us to manipulate everything. The sky is very dramatic and the clouds are just breath taking, but are they real or they were colored in Photoshop? It is an eye pleasing landscape, well done and nicely presented.

This was taken inside a canyon in Death Valley National Park. I am sitting on one wall of the canyon and the other makes for the background. It is a hike to get this low to be even with the planes. They fly inside this crack in the ground. It is like watching Star Wars in the nature. Sorry for my late response. It is getting cold again I will be heading there soon.
