I may be odd, but honestly I don't see here any ground breaking achievements in the field of photography. Congratulations on the award! I only wish the editors would give some brief paragraph why they choose this image.

Had there been some highlight in the cats right eye, I think the picture would be better. As it is, it looks like there is a black hole in his/her head

In my opinion not a very successful attempt at mixing direct sunlight and shadowy areas in one picture. The bike pad makes and interesting element for an eye to follow a sequence in viewing the photo but the overexposure at the end feels like a shock.

I would argue with Nanda here. I see a lot of overexposures: the flames at the base of the fountain, the white light panels behind and the hotel sign in the upper left corner to be exact. It is not easy to mix all the different light sources in one picture.

Saad's, Francesco's and Your photo form a nice continuation of abstracts right next to each other. I think the images belong together colorwise.

Hello Saad! Great location with a lot of pastel features. The dark streaks and a lonely tree make for a nice addition.

The sequence of seemingly identical images is very eye catchy. Very good photo in my opinion with a comic book hint. Good color range too.

The hardest trick in photographing propeller driven airplanes is to get the blades form a full circle. The less blades in the propeller the harder it gets. This usually can be accomplished with shutter speeds of 1/60th sec or slower. Using slow shutter speeds creates in turn all sorts of new problems with getting the rest of the plane sharp and so the game goes. It isn't so simple as it sounds. Don't worry I learned my lesson the same way from the air-shows pros.

I have one question. Why would You call this shot "Drug overdose"?

There is nothing much going on in this shot, but the shadow of Boeing 757 is becoming an icon due to the 9/11 events, thus it is a very powerful, emotions inflicting picture.

This shot remains me of Manuel Noriega a bit, whose love and hate relationship with the CIA finally brought him down.

Hello Gustavo. Sorry wrong language. I said I like Your picture and the colors, but how did You get the blotches? Good luck and best wishes

Hello Sunset Man, congratulations on all Your awards. I think You deserve them, as it appears from Your work, that You put a lot of effort in creating Your images. As the "slash in the back" comment. I am sorry You interpreted it in such a way. My intention was to underline a fact, that there is someone who is trying to imitate Your style. Well, it meant to be a compliment. Maybe go back and read it a few times and it will change Your perception. I am sorry it caused You so much pain and suffering. After all there are no secrets here. Everything is open to the public scrutiny. I hope this explanation brings You some inner peace.

Thank You Sunset Man for both the recognition and a long comment. The crop is pure coincidental, but I liked the result. It looks somewhat more aggressive when the motorcycle is coming down.

Hello Elias. The title is ironic, or better said sarcastic. Of course there is no sin in being young. I said it before. Thanks for stopping and writing Your opinion.

Dramat z zycia owadow.

Here is another one. It looks to me that every second of a third shot on this web site is a close up of a flower.

I am just getting tired looking at the flower shots. Too many of them on this website. Try to be more original that would be my advice.

Great setting and not even one foot print I could detect. The texture of the sand on the beach is very catchy. It is a shot up the Sunset Man's ally. I understand his frustration facing this competition.

I have no idea why this scene caught Your attention. There appears to be some camera movement on the technical side, but otherwise it is as interesting as a shot of a solid black background

I would say that the surrounding landscape totally dwarfs the woman. Too much distractions in other words. Had she been facing the camera the image could be a bit better in my opinion. Anybody disagreeing with me?
