I love the intensity of the black in this shot (line on the boat). I would have used more contrast at the top of the image.

IMO only. I'm not keen on the power lines at all. I think with your project title being what it is, to me power lines don't show "peace and tranquility" I do however love the sky and starkness of the photo and your composition is great.
