Dear Jacqui, very nice work, really like it... sorry I haven't been around but I hardly am anymore...long story/numerous reasons. Keep up the good work - you have a lot of talent. Mark

It is great work, I always appreciate well done dramatic portraits in B&W. The composition here is excellent but I think I would have liked just a touch more light to catch a glimpse of his eyes. Keep up the good work, Chris.

such a forlorn look on his face...
nicely composed, great detail. I like the tones and contrast... gives a nice, moody feel to the shot.

Unusual but one can think on it.. I like the fact that the quality is not so good, this adds some oldery to your picture. Moreover I like also the subject, simple, and the angle you took it.. This is a nice work Congrats Fabrice

Another excellent shot. Of course probably would look a bit better if you flatbed scanned it. So why don't you have one ? You can get a pretty cheap Epson at Compusa or Bestbuy on a payment plan - get their credit card, no interest for 6 or 9 or 12 months..... Anyway, an excellent shot it looks like. Very old school/classic. You have the eye/talent...Mark

Wicked close-up. Can you tell a little about your lens and camera set-up for the shot?
You say you used PS, but it looks like perhaps that was only to make adjustments to tone and so forth (not like you constructed this)?
