These section of boards measure 4 inches, so I would guess 5 or 6 inches. Thanks for the kind comments.

Thanks, Bill for keeping me straight. You are correct. The distance from my eyes to my brain has in time gotten farther.

Thanks, Dave. This guy, I found out, is a giant silkmoth (Polyphemus). He came in like a bat, and until I saw him, I reacted as to a bat. He then landed and sat for a few shots.
Thanks again,
Phil

Mr. Man, thanks for viewing and the comment. Haven't found out what this is, but it's body looked like some nice finished wood.

Thanks, Bill for letting me know. I thought it was strange looking when shooting. The web site was really good (identifying another that I had also posted) and saved as a favorite. But after reading the description on the link, this little guy is a snowberry clearwing and not CWBM.
Thanks again, and appreciate it. Phil

Thanks, Joe. I didn't take any this last time over, but not because it is hard to find the opportunity! I tried to avoid the streets and focus more on other stuff. I DO have some, but I would have to dig deep into my first two trips.
