DOF is just off or needs to be better focused
Seems a bit dark maybe a light fill flash would make it stand out more.A reflector from the bottem
would have been interesting.
The orchard in the back ground adds to the story
nice touch.
What kind of cherry blossom?

Yes I take all my photos in RAW format. Since I shoot a lot it does add some extra time to adjust and convert the files, but its quite ok when you use a good raw converter that allows you to do all adjustments really quickly. I use Bibble which is very fast and has a great UI.
Using raw is the best way to get the most out of your camera and it allows you to twaek things later that would be very difficult to do when you use JPG.

Thank you my brother for the comments on my son and on the image. You are absolutely right about the image. This image was to have been for sentimental reason only. I dont like to use white clothes, it pull the viewers eyes too much. It is from a bad negative. A grab-shot without any thinking. Luke, I will put-up some city images. I can only do portraits.
