Nice portrait indeed. I prefer the colour version, I think it's the contrast between her beautiful ebony skin tone and the darkness that surrounds it. What a lovely friendly face she has too, I bet working with her wasn't too arduous. The edge lighting is a nice touch.

Good lighting and expressions. The composition seems a bit 'loose' to me however, and a tighter crop might work better, either having your subjects closer together or eliminating some of the negative space. But I like the shot nonetheless.

I like it, backlight gives it a lot of space, excellent models and emotions.
In my opinion should by better with grey or white t-shirts.
