Thank you for your comment. I just bought this camera and I was tinkering around with it, taking random pictures. i didn't use a tri-pod, it was just a close up my face then I cropped out my eyes. I too noticed the shadow, I wish the light caught the rest of my eye but oh well.

Kristen, it is interesting how you only have your eyes in this shot. Did you mount your camera on a tripod or crop this later? I like it. I wish your left eye was either entirely covered or visible as I feel like moving the hair out the way (but that is me)! Something about it is attention grabbing, maybe the stare. Well done.
