Too much Photoshop for me but I like the angle and beauty of the model.

Thoughtful intimate portrait. Avoiding the over exposure on the nose and removing the earring might help make it even more impactful. Still, one of your best I feel.

Very nice dizzying effect. It might be nice if you cleaned the figures on the bike path behind the lead rider. Lovely nonetheless.

The two flower pots and garden hose are a distraction.
Sharpening in Photoshop does not equal proper focus.

I know it is very difficult to get these kind of shots. Wonderful that you captured his wings that way. Next time, get him on the right and show some landscape.
How can such nimble feet launch such flight?

Thank you Brad for your comment.
I receive so few I hardly feel like a member of this site.
I often think this site name should be changed to UsePhotoshop.com - anyway, you are right that I should play with this image some more. I have the negatives around here somewhere, a decent negative scan instead of this flatbed scan of a print would probably be the thing to do.
Aloha to you Brad!

Hi Matt,
The composition is OK, be aware that the photograph is tilting to the right. This could and should be corrected in photoshop.
Notice that detail has been lost on both of his arms and face from over exposing.
Your portfolio has a nice selection of different types of subjects! Keep up the good work.

The different planes are very pleasant (the guitar and his face). The framing of his face with shadow is of course excellent. Small details like his collar, the hair on his face and their shadows, the scar on his finger etc. add to the charisma of this shot.
I would like to see a little less negative space in the bottom right, but I can see that it may be part of your style.
Imagine how pleased he will be to look at this wonderful portrait 20 years from now.

Nice to have a ready model that is so beautiful.
The light appears to be too harsh - all detail has been lost in the front of her dress. The gap above her head is a bit too large (you might consider framing this subject a little lower), also that spot above her head on the right should be removed.
Best regards, AS

This is pleasing to look at. Your diagonal framing works with this assortment of textures and shapes.
It would be nice to experiment and see if that light that is hitting that wall could be balanced and that shadow removed with some gentle reflected light.
Thank you for sharing your work.
