the colour really is beautiful in this shot but i find much of it just a bit dark for my liking. i think, if shot a bit earlier in the night, to catch the last vestiges of daylight, it could be much better. but my opinion only. well done at any rate. james

This is a beautifully composed, silhouette and twilight shot, Andrea. I took two photos, from a similar perspective, but with a very different sunset sky. You can see these in my portfolio.

An original photo, from this much snapped area, Andrea. A picture in three parts:- The upper, conventional Notre Dame silhouettes, and secondly, the river reflections from the garish lights. The third, is the excellent, 'warp drive', river boat. 7.
I find it all comes together, in this imaginative, and inspiring image.
