Nice shadows !! great colors ... is the big part of the shadow at the bottom a part of the tree ?! it doesn't look so !!! it's a bit distracting !!

Wow!! When you first look at it, the Angel doesn't look so big and then your eye moves down to the gap between the fences and the scale suddenly dawns on you!! The sky behind is great!! Did you take any more piccies... maybe of more unusual angles and perspectives?

Cheers barry !! my bass player and drummer in my band are from whitley bay !! my cousin keith saint ( also on usefilm ) told me about you lastnight , keep the northeast flag flying eh !! my band are called " stick fingers " so get along to a gig sometime and we can have a pint or 15 !! hee hee hee !!!!!! .. mark .

I have already previewed your pictures a few weeks ago and I must say that I was born in Gateshead, had family in whitley Bay, work in Newcastle...and camp now and again in northumberland with the family, and I feel you have captured all your images 100%. hard to believe that you can capture this sort of image if you put your mind to it....Well done...100% now back to the cold...and look forward to going out again in the Spring and Summer.

Amazing macro shot Barry! The colours are amazing! Closeup lenses really do work a treat (I have 2 - a +1 and a +2).... Wonderful image!
