I love the high angle of view of this image and the high contrast. A lovely image.
And, GO AUNT DORIS!!!! ;-)

A great street scene, it really shows the atmosphere. I love the sense of activity and the colorful, cluttered look of the street.
I'd be tempted to crop off the top of the photo to just above the highest banner. The white sky detracts and by cropping out the top it would heighten the feeling of a crowded street. Please don't be offended...I'm almost afraid to give an honest opinion given one of the current threads in the forum!

Very nice. The window sidelight really makes this interesting and natural looking. A nice casual portrait of a very pretty little girl.

A lovely image. Lots of movement and grace. 2 things I might considering changing. The first has already been mentioned, which is to crop just a tiny bit off the bottom. The second would be worth considering if you ever plan to shoot this again...which is, I'd like to see a bit of detail where there are blocked up shadows on the tulip leaves. A small white reflecter would do the trick, I think. It's possible that would not improve the image, but might be worth experimenting with.

Hi Alejandra. This is a lovely spot, I will have to get to Olney sometime soon. I live just north of Baltimore, so it's not far. I'm not sure what can be done to improve this. Perhaps boosting the reds and greens a little would help. This area looks like it would make many good images from various elements...the angel, the door, the wall rack of pots...this might be one of those places where an overview shot will never be outstanding. I do think it's interesting enough to give it another try!

Welcome to Usefilm TJ!
The colors of the sunrise are lovely and the sky and clouds above add interest. However, in my opinion your horizon is way too centered. Since you have NO detail in the bottom, it should take up very little of the image. Richard says you didn't put the horizon dead center...well maybe not, but it's too darn close for me!
I'm curious...what is the strange moire pattern I see in the sky and around the branches of the tree?

Brenda, for years I shot ONLY slide film but now I rarely use it. I can get print negs processed for $1.76 a roll and scan them with my film scanner so using slide film has become an unneccessary expense. Thank you for your comment!

You really captured the amazing power of the waves. I like the lightened version that Don did, as well.

Very nice. The subject, composition and color are all very appealing. And, I like the simple uncluttered look.

Lovely colors and fun composition. I like the softness of the background flowers but wish those closest to the lens were sharper. Still, nice image!

The model and the coat look great. I agree regarding cloning out the shine in her shoes and, like some others, think the image needs a slight rotation to the left. Ltherwise, nice work!

Steven, to me this is an image with lots of potential, but it needs some editing work. I've played with it a little, 1st straightening it, then adjusting the colors to give it more life. I hope you don't mind!'
