Thanks markus. I think it is the surface of the rose petal touching the water. Maybe some dust in the water as well, but I dont know about acid rain - not that much smoke here...

Great colors with beautiful lighting. I just think a little more DOF would help us see the creature a little bit easier. I find it hard to know what i'm looking at. Keep up the good work.

Great macro shot, Bryan. I'm wondering what the structure within the drop might be. Is it the reflections (from what) or the dust from the acid rain?

This photo has an enormous feel of depht.The diagonal lines of this fresh vineyard lead your eyes to the mountain in the back.Good job Brian!
