an M42 adapter I payed about 50euro I think here new in the shop.
and the old lenses M42 ,about 15 euro on ebay.

Thanks Guido, and thanks for the advice on adapters. It isbasically Summer here in South Africa - getting quite hot, and long days. Although we are still having more rain than usual.

Thanks, Roberto. A good illustration of the perceived distortion of a wide angle lens on the verticals. Some of my other photos (still to be uploaded later), I corrected this with the transform tool - worked quite well...

I like the rose, Bryan. It's a pity that not the whole rose is visible, because it's not distracting at all, it gives the picture more tension. I like how the grass reflects the texture of the cat. Great composition.
