An excellent shot, Tim, and I can't believe only one other person has congratulated you on it. You must be one hell of a sharp shooter!
I get a female kestrel regularly near my home, often perching on power lines that pass by my cottage. She's magnificent to watch; one day, it was blowing a gale, she dropped of the lines and still managed to stay dead still above potential prey.

I like this, Tim, it has a very Constablesque feel (and Turneresque, given the lighting). It can be quite difficult sometimes to capture satisfying rural scenes, the detail often confuses or distracts from the overall effect, but this one definitely works.
I wondered if you had tried other variations eg to try to exclude the pylons? (They're the only things Constable wouldn't have had to deal with!)
