The second Lara commenting your photo.. Can't be a coincidence!
Great capture! It looks like a beautiful flower, and not 'just' like a pepper. So I guess that's what makes this a wonderful photo, you turned something normal in something fascinating.
Well done!

There was a Catholic church built in a rather similar style to that but I don't remember the exact area in which it was located. It's pretty distinctive, isn't it! You've captured it well and B&W suits it.

A polarizing filter can cut out that kind of reflection completely, which might be worth remembering. I also thought the ride was worth it for the fantastic view. We had slightly better weather than you did when I took my three sons there. They were mightily impressed, having spent all their lives in Tokyo... You've got a nice record of your visit... well done!

Autumn in b&w, surely different .. one sees other accents, the reflected branches in the water are so much clearer, and contrasting with the pale leaves on the water .. the rock on the left was a good addition for composition !

Wow, fantastic picture Tamara! Love the vintage car, the wall, the tree shadows, the light, the windows, the red fire hydrant, the cracked ashphalt... in fact everything about this picture! To my favorites and a 7/7 Fantastic mood! Ina

Hi Tamara, I love this photo, it has so much appeal to me, and so does the title. Somehow, I wish I didn't read the "about" section - it takes away the mystery of the "wait" - the who and where, and why of the image. Regards, Ina
