One of your nicer shots, that is, nice visualization, and a nice final effect. Not just another shot, if you know what I mean.

Interesting composition. What I find odd though is that you chose to make this B&W. I associate autumn with color - and the addition of the jack-o-lanterns on the steps along with all the (what I assume would be) colorful leaves might have made this shot more lively... I wonder how it would be if you selectively colored the leaves (something that would be way tooooooo much work...)
Good shot anyways, Kasia

Thanks so much for your comment David. It was really helpful. Yes, I'd applied a gradient filter so that is the blur you see the the bottom. I had thought it was otherwise a bit too white, but now that I look back at it I see that you are exactly right and it's just weird and distracting! Thanks so much for pointing it out, and also for the suggestions on how to make this photo more alive. It was all very helpful.

nice dof, but did you manually blur out that strip at the bottom in ps? it may be a tad distracting. also, i think that if you showed a finger or two on the baking pin, and maybe sank it just a bit down into the dough, then your image would seem more alive.
i'm a sucker for grainy macros. thanks for this one!

Nice composition and lighting. I like the abstract nature or better, the other-worldlyness of the seeds. Makes me think of the old monster movies. Good work.

Tamara, this is very imaginative and I imagine required a yoga position to get the shot! For me, I'd have cropped out the dark tiles at the top - I find them a little distracting. But great shot anyway. Regards, Gary
