Lol. Thanks Roger. I don't think i'm active enough on these forums these days to be worthy of comments!
Glad you liked the shot though. Was umming and aahhing over this one cause of the blurriness of it, but liked something about it in that abstract sort of way.
Cheers.

So serene. Pretty nice angle and the light is good. maybe a bit blurred but I think it added something spooky to this particular image of yours. Was it early morning or dusk? It also looks like an image from the American TV series 'X Files'. Ha ha. All in all .. in one single word .. it's great!

Hi Roger. Unfortunately its the 9-5 grind that has stopped me posting more! I'm no longer a uni bum. I have lots of photos on my computer but just havent had the time to fiddle with them and upload.

Thanks. Yeah, would have loved a longer exposure, but unfortunately I had to leave for the 3 hour trip home. I would have put a polariser filter on to darken it but I left it in the car.

i like this one better than the other falls photo you uploaded recently. this one is more realistic looking and i think you got the shutter speed down just right here.
as chris suggested, you could have gone later in the day with less light and a longer exposure... maybe try both next time.
nice shot ~ james

Looks like a great spot, I would try these falls later in the day, when there is minimal light and you could go for a 3-5 second exposure. However, the nice golden light works well here.
Cheers, Chris

Thanks. You can put the saturation and colour problem down to my LCD monitor. I've always struggled to calibrate it properly. Maybe when i see it on a CRT i will do some fiddling and repost it.

i really like it and you're right about the shadows, maybe would be a bit stronger contrast in B+W and adjusted levels in Photoshop. The colors are a bit distarcting because there is only a hint of them so by dessaturating and exagerating, may make it pop a bit more. Great work and well seen.
