Yes I am there with Betsy.. the sculpture quality of this composition is wonderful. you've succeeded in giving sharing the beauty you saw in an ordinary subject. Well done

Nice shot, but you were right in your comments when you said you would have her move her fingers down a little more. I really like the colors of the red tie.

VERY BEAUTIFUL LIGHTING. After viewing some of your work, I cant believe the lack of response they have received. They are wonderful. You use wonderful lighting.

Very beautiful portrait. I must agree - Wow - 370 views and only one other comment. This is a wonderful picture. I love the softness, nice pose, beautiful model and very well executed. And very tastefully done as well. GREAT WORK. I like it alot.

Thank you Luke Luther for bringing this image back to the top...it seems another Great AJG image got by me while I was away from this site for a couple of months...Arthur fistly gotta love that name...Image wise now...Nothing less than "Major Balls"
Framing perfect.....lighting equally perfect...concept layout and execution also perfect...Trully a polished top notch marketable image but you knew that would be the effect thats why you set it up...

i really like the exquisite shimmer of the fabric and the way that it approximates the color of the model's eyes. it is very intimate since we see only a small part of her face. the composition is wonderful and the color and tones are delightful...i don't understand why this has not gotten more attention. her forehead seems to be a little hot, but otherwise this is great.

This just popped up in random...what an interesting way to frame her...you didn't choose to playuo the obviously most forward part of her but left it more to the imagination of the viewer...the causal look she gave you for this shot looks almost like the little dutch girl...you lit her beautifull with the right amount of punch and yet held it soft and more subtle...This is an excellent example of the use of natural light and a potato masher to generate a very warm soft light usually only attributed to big studio lighting rigs...Arthur you've concieved and excellent image and executed it with a great deal of "Panashe" (bet I spelled that wrong) Excellent job...soft portrait with "BALLS"....P.S. even the Madras peasant top works to compliment her tones....

you got 25 people to look at your shot with no comments or ratings.. now this looks like a Candid shot. the plants in the background is not needed so you need to clone them out or blur them.. using adobe. next, i don't like her palms (both of them) on her legs.. it doesn't look complimentary. i like the dress it is quite catchy. You asked her to look away and she is co-operating. I see you are using a good camera Canon D30 with 200mm lens. Next time you work with Natalie.. make her sit on a small stool.. keep your camera on a tripod with a long trigger line.. Frame her.. and talk to her.. from whatever angle you want her to look at.. make her laugh or get her to talk.. then take rapid frame shots.. you will be surprised..

Nice lighting and framing of the subject using the plants. BG is little cluttered for me, maybe a fashion portrait be ok with that. I would watch the models eye closely... Her eye are too away from the camera and gives an awkward feel to the picture. It could just be who feel so...

Elangs.
